Meet Our Founder, Stephen Huntoon

I found my calling in life at a young age. I grew up in suburban New York with a father who was a builder and a mother who was a landscape designer. Their passions rubbed off on me and I combined my parent’s two skills and started a New England fence company in 2010.

By connecting these creative capabilities, I knew there was a better way to build a fence than the cookie–cutter fence styles and shiny, creaky vinyl that was being offered.

Here at New England Cedar Fence our specialty and sweet spot is knowing how to design, craft, and install fences to each customer’s needs.

I have been a spokesperson appearing on PBS’s This Old House and The Victory Garden. I work best with those who appreciate a collaborative approach to designing your outdoor spaces.
